Mechanical Engineer
As a Mechanical Engineer, you’re looking for a role where you can fully express your creativity and problem-solving skills. Ideally, you'd like to do this for an innovative company, one you can be proud of. At Teqram, we’re working on one of the biggest innovations in industrial automation: autonomous vision guided robots.
Your Key Challenge as a Mechanical Engineer:
Together with our other mechanical engineers, you will be responsible for quickly developing high-quality, mechatronic systems. We build standardized solutions which are highly configurable to customer specific use-cases. Most of our robots are used in the sheet metal and plate industry, so every solution you create must not only be functional but also robust.
Your work starts with a problem that probably has not been solved before. On top of that there are challenging constraints and demands such as space, form-factor, cost, maintainability and durability.
You will be part of a dynamic, social, and highly intelligent team of professionals who are passionate about what they do. We expect you to have a strong interest in other disciplines such as electrical engineer and software in order to be succesful.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing concept solutions.
- Drafting concepts in Solidworks.
- Improving existing systems.
- Liasing with production for any design questions
- Supervising prototype construction.
We take on the challenges others didn't dare to, will you?
We are looking for a pragmatic, inventive, and technically skilled colleague. You design in a way that ensures the robot performs its tasks effectively and consistently. Every design you create has been carefully thought through. You either have experience or a strong affinity with industrial automation, robotics, and/or machinery. You’re an approachable team member, someone who quickly gets to the heart of the matter and isn’t satisfied until you fully understand the problem. During busy periods, you know how to set your priorities. You also enjoy being part of a close-knit team and work well with your colleagues.
What we expect from you as a Mechanical Engineer:
- A BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Automation.
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with Solidworks or other 3D software.
- Hands-on technical skills
Job Requirements:
We ask a lot, but we offer much more.
Most importantly, you will be contributing to one of the most significant innovations in robotics in recent years. You will also work in an environment where you can apply your experience and ideas. We expect commitment, but we also offer it in return. Together, we strive for continuous improvement, and from day one, your opinions will be valued. Teqram is financially stable, allowing us to invest strategically to maintain and expand our unique position. We ensure that you will find challenges here and, importantly, continue to find them.
Are you ready to push the boundaries of robotic automation?
